Challenge 03

Building Relationships.

Deposits and Withdrawals.

Our whole life is a journey, so walking in selfless appreciation of your partner or other person’s gifts and talents, this helps to keep arguments and frustration to a minimum. Build up your partner, so they can feel valued and good about themselves. This in return brings reward to the relationship as it strengthens the bonds and foundations on which it is based.

Commonly the things that separate us when it is all boiled down are mostly small things. When lots of small things accumulate they then seem to grow so enormous that you feel you can’t deal with them. Therefore it is best to keep short accounts. Before going to sleep make sure you have resolved all the relationship issues of the day. Keep affirming your partner’s good points. This makes good healthy deposits into your relationship bank account. Banking in the Bank of Trust.

Every day we make decisions that affect other people, those that we interact with are constantly evaluating our character, and each action and reaction is assessed as either negative or positive.

When we are making positive responses, we are adding to the trust that is deposited into our bank. If however we are not making good choices, that then takes away from what has already been there before.

How is your account will it stand the test of a mistake, when a withdrawal is made?

Life is full of mistakes that we make, so we need to make sure that the deposits are healthy, so when we stuff up, the balance is able to stand the withdrawal. Relationship Break Ups Occur, when there is a Break Down in Trusting one another.

To be able to trust another person is what holds relationships together. We are constantly being evaluated as to how we can be trusted, in our work, our family, friendships and our community.

If we are not trust worthy, this breaks down the trust that has been given to us.

To be trust worthy shows the type of person we are, it shows we are of good character making us worthy of other peoples trust.

To be valued by others we need to display good character through, having integrity, doing what we say we will do, working with others to achieve the best we can be. When we display maturity, reliability and kindness, then other people will know that we can be trusted; which in turn helps to build lasting relationships.

Remember that relationships are the most important part of our life and they must be guarded and nourished, if they are going to be able to stand the test of time. So spending time developing and maintaining relationship is the best way to enjoy a happy healthy life.
