To some you are a shepherd,
Whose voice they trust upon.
To some you are the light,
To guide the path they’re on.
To some you are the vine,
Helping fruit to grow.
To some you are a place of rest,
A comfort for their woe.
To some you are a fisherman,
Gathering each in turn.
To some you are a harvester,
Pulling weeds to burn.
To some you are a healer,
Easing all their ills.
But other’s see a bridegroom,
The bride to do his will.
But I see you as Jesus,
God’s son from up above.
Sent to save the whole world,
And fill it with God’s love.
