Without you Lord, I’m empty,
Adrift on oceans deep,
A life without a purpose,
My conscience lays asleep.
Though the days be stormy,
On life’s despairing sea,
Your guidance keeps my ship acourse,
Your always there for me.
Life’s sea is dark and fearful,
And storm clouds loom ahead,
But when I turn to you, Lord,
I’ve sunny days instead.
It’s you that is my lighthouse,
A guide to heaven’s shore;
And there with angels I will sing,
Your praises evermore.
