Moving Your Mind Forward.

Whatever your mind dwells upon, you give power to it. Therefore it makes sense to focus on what you want rather than what you don’t want. Yet there are many ways in which the things you don’t want can sneak into your thinking.

Worry, distrust and doubt focus your thinking on what you don’t want. Instead of worrying about the bad things that might happen, direct your thoughts and actions toward making positive things happen.

Anger is one more way to get your thinking in a negative direction, so instead of getting angry about what you don’t like, use that power to give you the strength of mind for what you want to achieve.

Complaining can also get your mind sidetracked into thinking about what you don’t want. When you complain it is about the things you don’t like. Rather than complaining, take action that moves you toward to the goals you want to achieve.

When you keep your mind positively focused on the good things that life can offer, those things will grow stronger and more abundant in your world.

“Anything that is true, anything that is noble, whatever is right, all that is pure, whatsoever is lovely, all that is admirable; if anything is exceptional or praiseworthy then turn your thoughts to these things.”

(Philippians 4:8 paraphrased)
